Hi Easton...it's Ama
Yesterday was the 16th, which means that you are officially 7 months old. And my goodness, you have been crawling for several weeks now and are trying very hard to pull up on everything. You would very much like to just take off walking, but patience, baby boy! You need a little more practice with that thing called balance. Take your time and don't be in such a rush to grow up. Enjoy your newly perfected skill of crawling and sitting up by yourself before you start trying to move around on those two little feet. Ama would love to have you stay 'little' for a while longer because you are such a cuddlebug, and such a joy to hold. Once you start that walking thing, you'll want to be down and going full steam ahead.
You started solid food during the past month and so far, you are a pretty good little eater. That little mouth opens up like a little bird and you seem to prefer foods of the orange variety rather than the green. But that could change. They say it takes up to ten tries for some things before they are readily acceptable. So the verdict is still out on peas and green beans. Carrots and sweet potatoes, you like. And cereal with fruit. There are still so many new things to try, so we'll see if the trend continues.
So, I look forward to seeing you each day and love being witness to each new skill that you are working perfecting. Each day brings something new and special.
I love you, Sweet Boy!
Ama
