Mother's Day '10

Hi Easton...it's Ama,

Today is Mother's Day, and you are spending time with your mommy today, and your Nana. Then later today, you and Daddy are going to fix a special dinner for me and your mommy at your house. I am so glad to be able to spend part of this day with you and your mom and dad.

Just so you know, you have a really special mommy! She loves you so very much and is so proud of the little boy you are becoming. She loves doing things with you and taking you places and reading to you. And know how much you love her, too. When your daddy was a little boy, I remember all the special little things he always made for me when he was in school and I have treasured those gifts for many years...even still have some of them tucked away. Those little things meant a lot to me, and he was always so proud of what he had made. He couldn't wait to give them to me, and he would seldom want to wait from Friday when he came home with them until Sunday when Mother's Day rolled around. But it didn't matter to me...I was happy to get them whenever. You are still too little to understand what Mother's Day is all about, but as you get a little older, you will come to understand that it is the one day of the year that we specially honor our mothers. Of course, we can do that any day, but this one day is extra special.

So be really sweet to Mommy today, and give her an extra hug and kiss. She cherishes every ONE!

I love you, Sweet Boy!
Ama
