First Thanksgiving

Hi Easton...it's Ama.

Today was your first Thanksgiving celebration! We had dinner at your house yesterday, today your dad left to go see your Uncle Kelly, and you and Mama went to Waco to have a celebration tomorrow with your Nana and PawPaw, Uncle Jason, Uncle Darren, Aunt Sandra, and Daniel. It will be a lot of fun. I know you will miss your dad, but I am glad that he is getting this chance to go see Uncle Kelly. He doesn't get to do that too often since it is such a long long way to his house.

Thanksgiving is a special holiday when we stop to reflect on all of our many blessings and give thanks. Our family is so blessed to have so many loving people who care and watch out for one another. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful family, such absolutely special people who mean the world to me and your Papa. I am so thankful that we are in a position to have you stay with us while Mommy and Daddy are at work. That has been a joy for both of us! I am so thankful for you and Austin, my two sweet, wonderful grandsons who have added such a wonderful dimension to my life and to your Papa's. I look forward to many, many more Thanksgiving celebrations in the years to come.

Enjoy your weekend and have a good time playing with your cousin Daniel. I know that your Nana and PawPaw will enjoy having you and Mommy there for the weekend.
