Month three

Hi Easton...It's Ama.

You are three months old...in weeks, that is. I think of 12 weeks as three months although, here again, the 16th will be the official three month mark. You have changed so much this last month. I marvel at your good humor and cheerful smile as you are usually a pretty happy little guy. It is such a pleasure keeping you every day because you are a pretty easy going baby most of the time. You are teaching me your preferences and your favorite ways to play and sleep and visit. It is so much fun watching you try to grab for your toys now as they dangle in front of you. You are getting a lot better at grabbing things and of course, they are going straight to your mouth. And kick! Oh how you can kick and work those little arms and legs. You look like you just want to get up and go so badly. I will be willing to bet that you will be an early crawler because you are already getting up on those legs and scooting when you are on your tummy. One of your favorite things to do is to stand up on those little legs, and they are so strong! You enjoy our daily conversations with each other and you talk to your mobile and the stuffed animals in your bed. I love listening to your sweet little coos and squeals.

Oh, yes...and today was Mother's Day! Your mom and dad (and you) gave me two beautiful pictures taken at Sears about three weeks ago or so. You also had your picture taken with Daniel for your Nana. I know she loved her pictures too. You had such a cute little grin in pictures. Thank you so much for such a special surprise. I showed them to Austin this morning when we chatted. He always wants to say hi to you when we chat because he thinks you are at my house. He says, 'Talk Baby Easton' and it is usually when you are not here. We may chat with him in the morning when he gets up.

I spent the night at your house last night for the first time 'cause Mommy and Daddy went out last night and I decided I might as well just spend the night. That was fun for me...I got to see you this morning when I got up. You slept a long while last night and Mommy is getting to have more 'long' sleep this last week or so. I hope you continue to sleep longer and longer at night...that will be wonderful.

Well, I should go to bed because you will be here bright and early in the morning. Papa will be so glad to get to see you this week...he missed you while he was at the condo.

See you in the morning.
I love you, Sweet E
Ama
