4 months

Hi Easton...it's Ama.

Yesterday, you were officially four months old! June 16th. Wow! You are just growing too fast. Mom and Dad took you to the doctor for your four month checkup and you weighed 13 lbs 1 oz. and were 25 inches long. Since you are so long and wiry, you have been able to maneuver yourself around really well and learned to turn over from your back to your tummy about a month ago. It is impossible to keep you on your back anymore, and you are even scooting on your tummy. You know what that means...it won't be long before you are up on all fours and crawling around. And you are just as cute as a bug! All smiles and happy grins most of the time. You do get unhappy, because I hear that from your mom and dad, but usually it's because you are tired, hungry or bored and let us know about it quite loudly. But most of the time you are a happy, chatty baby boy!

Right now Ama is at Granny's house down in the Valley. I miss getting to see you every day or so and know that you will have changed so much when I get home...tomorrow! Dad says I can keep you on Thurs. and Friday when I get home, and that will be great! We can catch up! Your cousin Austin is coming on Saturday for a week and I am really looking forward to getting the two of you together. I think you will enjoy playing with Austin now that you are 'older'. You were only a month old when he was here before, and you weren't as intrigued with him as you will be now. I am so looking forward to having my two grandsons together for a few days.

Granny enjoys looking at your pictures and wishes she could see you more, but it is just not possible right now. Maybe she can come stay with us in the fall while you are at my house so you can get to know your great grandmother just a little. I would like to be able to get your picture with her just one time at least!

Have a good day today with Dad! I love you and can't wait to get home to see you.
Love you, Bug!
Ama
