First full day and night

Hi Easton, it's Ama.

Today was your first full day at home with Mom, Dad, and Nana. Everybody said it went really well. Your mom was able to nap a few times and catch up on some much needed sleep, Nana was able to nap when you napped, and Dad got a few things done around the house. You were a pretty sweet little boy today and are getting that eating/sleeping thing down pretty well. All things considered, it was a good day.

Harley finally got to meet you last night and today, and he was very happy to find out what was causing all the commotion around his house and why he was having to stay outside so much. He is very curious about you and goes to your little crib when you cry and cocks his head to one side like he does when we talk to him as if he is really listening to what we have to say. He doesn't like it much when you cry and wants Dad to do something about it. But other than a few sniffs and an occasional lick on the foot or the head, he pretty much behaved himself around you today. That is good, because he is a very special member of your family and your mom and dad want so much for him to be able to hang out with you as you get bigger and bigger. You and Harley will be big pals...I'm sure of it. He will be your protector and your companion for many years to come.

Your mom and dad are pretty proud of you and think you are pretty cute. It melts my heart to see your dad hold you and talk to you and comfort you. He's a natural born dad, just like I knew he would be. And your mom, well she is so in love with you and takes care of you just like a pro. Yep, I would say all in all, things are going pretty good at the moment and life is good!
