All to myself

Hi Easton...it's Ama.

Tonight I have you all to myself! Your mom and dad have gone out to eat with Aunt Jocelyn and Uncle Kelly, Papa J has gone to the condo in Corpus and Austin is down for the night. So it's just you and me, Buddy! I am so happy to be keeping you tonight! However, you are dead to the world. Mom said you had not slept over 30 min. all day, and now you are snoozing away. I don't dare pick you up because I don't want to wake you up. It will be time for a bottle in just a little while, so I will try to wait until close to that time before I disturb you.

Austin had a big day today on an adventure with his mama and he didn't get his usual nap. He was so tired tonight that he went to bed before you got here. Your mom and dad didn't get to see him before he went to bed, but we will be back from corpus in about a week and I will bring him over to your house to visit. He will be staying with me while his mom and dad go on a little trip.

You and Austin are my two greatest joys. I love being your grandma and am so glad that you will be staying with me when mama has to go back to work. We will have lots of days together so tonight is just one of many times I can spend time with you, just you and me.
