week three

Hi Easton...it's Grandma.

Tomorrow you will be three weeks old...wow! You went to the doctor this week and had gained up to 8lb10oz. and grown an inch and are doing just fine. Mom said you got really upset as you were getting your clothes put back on and didn't calm down until after you got back home. And then, you slept most of the afternoon. I went over for a visit with you and Mom after your lunch, and you were just sleepin' away. We had both tried to wake you up, but you were just too tired, is my guess, from your little outing.

On Tuesday night Mom and Dad brought you to Cha Cha's to meet us for dinner. That is one of our favorite places to eat!! Even tho it was really kind of loud in there, you slept thru the whole meal. But at least we can say you have now been to Cha Cha's. We'll have to go again soon because it is also one of your Uncle Kelly's favorite places too!!

Today is the day you get to meet your other cousin, Austin. He is flying on an airplane from Seattle and it will be around 5 pm when his plane gets in...I am hoping we can come over or you can come to our house so he can meet you. His mom and dad are really anxious to see you!! We have been talking to Austin about you, so he will finally know who we are talking about. It is going to be so wonderful for me and your Papa to have both you little guy in one place for a little while. You will be too little to remember his visit, but I bet he will remember you.

I hope you and your mom are having a good day today! Maybe you will get to go up to her school to meet some of her kids in her classes. They are anxious to see you! It is really cold out, but at least it is not raining today. It was good to see the sunshine this morning!
